Anchor Ravi asks fans to be patient about the release of his film 'Idi Ma Prema Katha'

Anchor Ravi is a known face in the Telugu television industry and famous for his pairing on-screen with Sreemukhi for his show, ‘Pataas’.
The TV star had shot for his debut film ‘Idi Ma Prema Katha’ with Meghana Lokesh, under the direction of debutant Ayodhya Karthik. The film’s first look was released by Puri Jagannadh in March, 2017 and Megastar Chiranjeevi had released the motion poster of the film in April, 2017.
But the film’s release hasn’t been announced yet and anxious fans continue to hound Ravi’s social media pages, asking about the same. The actor finally took to social media and shared a video with the director captioning it, “Chinna cinema kashtaalu, about Idi Ma Prema Katha & our struggle...but, v r positive n v shall release our movie soon, just need u all to be with us.” (sic)
In the 3 minute video, the anchor talks about releasing the teaser and songs long back, but how everyone is anxious about the release of the film. He says, “We thought it would be difficult to make the film. But making it was really easy; it’s the release part that’s tough, especially if the movie is a small one.”
He goes on to talk about how big stars and productions rule the roost in Tollywood, with many small films releasing and sinking without notice. He also addresses the issue of unavailability of theatres during star releases resulting in small films not making enough to profit the producers.
Anchor Ravi unapologetically says that they will definitely continue to wait till they are satisfied with the environment they’ll be releasing the film in, with their required theatre count met. The director of the film, Karthik also adds that they will be releasing soon. The video ends on a note with their both requesting fans to not ask about the release anymore and to remain patient.
