The latest episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 9 featured the second task in the captaincy contenders challenge, where
Bigg Boss warned the contestants for neglecting house rules.
Bigg Boss gathered all the contestants in the garden area for the second task — “Buzzer or No Buzzer.” Before the task began, Bigg Boss expressed his disappointment in the contestants for breaking the house rules, particularly for not speaking in Telugu.
He warned the contestants, saying,
“There are a few rules to be in my house. Speaking in Telugu is a very important rule. Many contestants try their best to speak even when they don’t know how to speak it very well. However, not speaking in Telugu even after knowing the language is very irritating for both me and the audience. The captain has neglected the duty of making sure everyone is following the rules. The owners' negligence clearly depicts their disrespect towards the show and the house. So, the timer for the owners' team will be increased by two hours, and by one hour for the tenants.”
After the contestants apologized to Bigg Boss, the second task began — with the owners' team in the garden area and the tenants in the activity room, connected via a telephone for communication and a 30-minute timer.
The rules were as follows:
If any one of the teams pressed the buzzer before the task ended, that team’s timer would become zero.
If both teams pressed the buzzer, each team’s timer would be increased by an hour.
If neither team pressed the buzzer, both teams' timers would be decreased by an hour.
Both teams ended up pressing the buzzer while trying to convince the other not to do so, which led to an increase in time on both teams’ timers. However, the owners’ timer hit zero first — with a two-hour difference from the tenants’ timer.
