Bigg Boss Telugu 9: Divya’s direct nomination of Tanuja sparks heated argument
In the latest episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 9, the nomination process led to intense arguments among the contestants.
By the end of the task, Sanjana Galrani, Kalyan Padala, Suman Shetty, Bharani, Srinivas Sai, and Ramu Rathod were nominated for eviction. Bigg Boss then granted Captain Divya Nikitha the special power of a direct nomination — and she chose to nominate Tanuja.
Explaining her decision, Divya told Tanuja, “You perceive me as being more important to someone in the house than you. Earlier, you were arguing with him, saying that Emmanuel and Divya were on his mind, but you weren’t. I don’t think you will understand even if I try to explain it personally. What you think isn’t always right. Nobody sidelined you or prioritised someone else.”
Tanuja asked Divya for clarity about the issue she was referring to, to which Divya responded that she was talking about Tanuja’s earlier nomination points against Bharani. Tanuja countered, saying that Divya should nominate based on her own reasons and not on someone else’s previous nomination.
Tanuja then remarked, “Even now, you’re nominating me because I nominated Bharani. Whenever something happens, you do nothing but cry.”
Divya fired back sarcastically, saying, “Are you talking about crying? You’re the one playing the sympathy game by shedding tears after every task you lose.”
Divya went on to add that she wasn’t sure whether Tanuja was deliberately trying to portray others in a bad light to gain sympathy. She further claimed that Tanuja had tried to make her look like someone who entered the house as a wildcard contestant, broke her bond with Bharani, and caused his elimination.
Tanuja, however, quickly defended herself, asserting that everyone in the house knew the truth about what had really happened.
