The renowned actress and TV personality who is currently judging the dance reality show Aata Juniors is surely away from bursting crackers this Diwali. The proud mother is busy organizing a lavish lunch for her near and dear in and outside the industry. Despite her hectic schedule, Lakshmi is personally inviting them for lunch.

"I'm actually done with bursting crackers, partying and all. This time, I'm organizing a lunch at home and I'm ensuring that all my near and dear attend with their families and kids. It will be a proper festive lunch with traditional delicacies from Rayalaseema," shares Lakshmi Manchu.

Tejaswi Madivada

It has been a 'No-cracker' Diwali for this ex-Bigg Boss Telugu 2 contestant right from her childhood. Sharing her views on the celebrations, Tejaswi said, "I don't like the concept of crackers. Diwali is a festival of lights but we have a lot of sound too. I don't know how and why. It isn't good for Mother Earth especially the animals around. We can have fun but not at the cost of our nature."

The Great Telugu Laughter Challenge host thinks conditions are improving with each passing year. "I think the pollution due to crackers is coming down every year. I hope more people join in towards celebrating a non-polluted and eco-friendly Diwali."

Rashmi Gautam is someone who always celebrated a sensible and responsible Diwali right from her childhood. "I hail from a middle class family and we always preferred not to splurge on crackers. We followed every other ritual though. The only time I tried my hand at lighting something, it left me with burns and scars on my right hand which I still have. Since then, I've stayed away from bursting stuff. I was always into the decorating department," shares Rashmi.

She welcomes the recent Supreme Court's verdict on bursting crackers. "I welcome the SC verdict. It is a much needed one too. It is high time we celebrate responsibly."

Pooja Ramachandran

Diwali is all about sharing and caring for this actress and ex-Bigg Boss Telugu 2 contestant and not more than that.

"It's been 15yrs that I've bought crackers. Over the years, I've become more aware of our environment. I ensure that my friends and family members don't indulge in bursting crackers. I get a lot of backlash on social media when I ask them not to burst but I still do it anyway. We have to become responsible now.

Of course, I'm going to enjoy lighting lamps, wearing a new dress, lots of partying, gifting and stuff," reveals Pooja Ramachandran.

Ali Reza

The Maate Mantramu fame actor shall be working on the Diwali day. However, it has always been a 'No-cracker Diwali' for him from a long while now. "My friends used to buy crackers for Rs 50,000 and sometimes even Rs 1 lakh and it would take just minutes to burn that into ashes. If you can't spend it for the poor at least spend it on yourself," said Ali Reza.

Supporting the SC's verdict on bursting crackers, Ali said, "It is good. What else one can do for more than 2 hours? How much more does anyone want to do? A cracker of Rs 10,000/- apparently takes 3mins to burst and after that, you are left with ear pain and smoke. That's it!"

However, Ali Reza plans to catch up with an old friend after his shoot.
