As per the latest reports, Karthik will leave his family shocked with his decision to marry Monitha. He will inform Soundarya about his promise to Monitha about marrying her if she gets back Hima. This is likely to lead to a major showdown between Karthik and Soundarya.
Karthik will demand Murali Krishna to reveal the whereabouts of Deepa. Murali Krishna will lose his cool on Karthik over Deepa's issue. On the other hand, Deepa has set up a tiffin centre in the village where she is living.
For the unversed, Monitha has been waiting to marry Karthik. She has in fact ruined his marriage with Deepa. Monitha has succeeded in manipulating Karthik into believing that Vihari's impotency was yet another cook up of Deepa and Soundarya. Karthik has disowned Deepa several years ago after accusing her of having an illicit affair with Vihari. Karthik has decided to marry Monitha long back but Soundarya managed to stop the marriage at the last moment.

The popular daily soap took an unexpected turn after Deepa started taking on her arch-rival Monitha. At a juncture, speculations were rife that the Telugu remake of Malayalam daily soap Karuthamuthu will end very soon.
