The 1000th episode of the show has a major shock in store for Hima. As per the latest reports, Karthik will finally reach Deepa's place. Hima and Murali Krishna will be shocked to find Karthik there. Karthik has recently found out about Deepa's whereabouts overhearing a conversation between Monitha and Priyamani. He has set out to bring back Hima and Sourya leaving Deepa behind. It remains to be seen if Karthik will bring Deepa as well.
For the unversed, Deepa has walked away with her daughters and settled in a small village near Vizianagaram after Karthik refused to believe in her. Karthik, in an attempt to bring back Hima, got ready to marry Monitha but Murali Krishna manages to find Deepa first. Being the doting father he is, Murali Krishna decided to stay back with Deepa.
Karthika Deepam, which was launched in 2017, is still the most-watched Telugu daily soap, as per the latest TRP report. The show featuring Nirupam Paritala as Karthik aka Doctor Babu and

as Deepa aka Vantalakka has been the undisputed ruler of the TRP charts for the past three years. The retelecast of the show during the lockdown also managed to sustain its position in the club of top 5 shows.
The Telugu remake of Malayalam show Karuthamuthu, also features Archana Ananth as Soundarya, Shobha Shetty as Monitha, Baby Krithika as Sourya, Baby Sahruda as Hima et al in pivotal roles.
