Deepa cries her heart out and tells
Murali Krishna that
Karthik wants a divorce. This leaves Murali Krishna shattered. He asks her to seek Soundarya’s help. Deepa tells him that even she is helpless now. He assures her to talk to
Soundarya once.
He meets Soundarya. She tells him that things have run out of her hands too and she deserves this for giving birth to an adamant son like Karthik. Murali Krishna leaves with a heavy heart.
Deepa meets the advocate and tells him that she is not seeking a divorce. He informs that divorce is inevitable in their case as they are separated for 8 years now. Deepa is upset with this. The lawyer calls Monitha and updates her that Karthik has sent divorce notice to Deepa. Monitha celebrates the occasion.
Murali Krishna reaches home and bursts into tears. He tells Shravya and Bhagyam about Karthik’s decision. Shravya is shocked to know this. She wonders why Karthik wants to divorce Deepa now. She also fears whether he will marry Monitha despite declaring that he will never do so. Bhagyam, on the other hand, is disappointed that she lost her deal with Karthik and curses Deepa.
However, she later feels that Deepa will get alimony if the divorce is sanctioned. She further plans to bring Deepa home, grab all her money and become rich.
