Karthika Deepam written update, June 25, 2019: Karthik tries to bribe Bhagyam

waits for Karthik at his clinic. She tries to show off to the staff that she is Karthik’s mother-in-law. Karthik arrives to discuss his divorce with Deepa but he finds Sourya coming along with Varanasi.

He instructs Bhagyam to hide somewhere in the room. He checks Sourya who is suffering with high fever. On the other hand, Sourya tries to tell him that her mother (Deepa) is very disturbed and her health is badly affected.

Karthik assumes that Deepa must be reconciling with Vihari since he rejected her. He feels divorcing her is not a sin at all. He asks Sourya to stay silent and prescribes her medicines. He further offers money to buy the medicines. Though Sourya refuses to accept it, Varanasi takes money for the medicines.

Karthik later asks Bhagyam to convince Deepa for divorce and promises to pay her Rs. 1 crore in return for the favour. Bhagyam initially refuses to commit such a sin. But she thinks Karthik is vexed up with Deepa and even she can’t live with a disinterested husband. She further feels that the alimony can help her meet monthly expenses at least. Bhagyam finally agrees to convince Deepa.

At home, Srilatha tries to kill Monitha, who is asleep. Meanwhile, Soundarya visits Monitha’s place. Srilatha is shocked to find her. Soundarya notices the horoscope segment being highlighted in the newspaper and concludes that it is

who is instigating Karthik. She wakes up Monitha to seek clarity on something. Monitha looks tensed. She sends Srilatha out on a petty job and locks the door. Srilatha reluctantly goes out and eventually gets disappointed to discover that the door is locked.

Sourya and Varanasi return home and decide to not let Deepa know that they visited Karthik. They lie about the same to her. Meanwhile, Deepa gets a text message on her phone asking her to come to the advocate’s office by 10.30am but 10am.
