, Anand Rao and
Soundarya argue for and against
Deepa. Towards the end of it, Soundarya concludes on getting rid of her at the earliest.
Karthik observes Deepa breaking down into tears. She tells Karthik that his belief alone matters to her. Karthik in turn advises Deepa to prove her innocence to the entire family. He rather emphasizes that it is the only way ahead left for her.
Unable to control her daughter’s whine, Bhagya Lakshmi’s mother taunts Murali Krishna (her son-in-law). She hurts his male ego and reminds his duties towards his wife and younger daughter (
Shravya).
Deepa, who is finding ways to prove her innocence, inquires Malathi (their servant maid) about the poisoning the milk (which is responsible for Shravya’s miscarrige). She insists Malathi to recap the ill-fated day. Deepa tries to find the missing links but Malathi can’t help her. However, while Deepa returns with disappointment, Malathi reveals that there was an odd scent (which doesn’t belong in the house) in the kitchen at that moment. Malathi assures to recognize the odour anytime later. Deepa instructs Malathi to disclose it to her alone.
Dr
Mounitha
checks Shravya’s health condition. She finds Shravya to be weak. Adithya complains that Shravya is acting reluctant towards food and medicines. Shravya discloses her frustration and hatred towards Deepa. Mounitha orders Malathi to get some water. Malathi then recognizes the perfume odour to be similar to the one she sensed earlier.
