The latest episode of TV reality show Bigg Boss Telugu 2 witnessed its last eviction of the season. Telugu rapper Roll Rida got evicted after spending 105 days in the Bigg Boss house, making some friends and memories for lifetime. Here are a few lesser known facts about the engineer turned rapper.

Born Rahul Kumar Velpula, he was was raised in Hyderabad. He did his schooling at St. George’s Grammer High School, Class XII at Narayana Junior College, Tarnaka and completed his Bachelors of Technology from CVR college of Engineering, Hyderabad.

Story behind 'Roll Rida'..

His professional name ‘Roll Rida’ was inspired from American rapper Flo Rida. He tweaked it considering the roll in his Telugu rap making it as ‘Roll Rida’.

Mommy's boy..

Roll Rida describes himself as a ‘Mommy’s boy’. His mother initially said “NO” to sending him to Bigg Boss house. Her later had to convince her for letting him participate in the same.

The night before the eviction, even Kaushal predicted that Roll Rida would make it into the Top 5. But when Roll Rida was evicted, Kaushal was shocked yet he was the first one to hug him.
