Prajwal PD is all set to entertain fans with his new outing Suryakantham. Prajwal shall be seen playing the role ‘Chaitanya’ in the soon-to-be-launched show.

Chaitanya is a handsome, timid young man hailing from a well-off family. He is pampered by his elder sisters and brothers-in-law.
In the recently released teaser of the show, Prajwal looks absolutely charming and his encounter with Suryakantham is something to watch out for. Ace comedian Praveen’s voiceover is fun yet captivating. While Chaitanya and Anusha look promising, the plot of the show is refreshing too.
Sathya is about the tomboyish girl named Sathya. Under unexpected circumstances, she gets married to Chaitanya, who is quite opposite to her. Though he finds it difficult to accept her, he eventually falls in love with Sathya and helps her achieve her goals.
The show is an official remake of the Tamil serial Sathya that was launched in March, 2019. As per the latest update, Suryakantham is all set to premiere in July.
Interestingly, Sathya is the Tamil remake of Bengali serial Bokul Kotha which is indeed a remake of Odiya serial Sindhura Bindhu. It remains to be seen how the new daily soap fares on the TRP charts.
