The post lockdown phase is challenging TV channels and makers of the TV shows to figure out new ways to entertain the telly audience and sustain viewership. With an increased focus on fiction shows, a leading General Entertainment Channel (GEC) has roped in popular actors to promote its daily soaps.
As per the latest reports, actors Raasi, Khushbu, Posani Krishna Murali, Thagubothu Ramesh, Aamani, Haritha, Prithvi and
Radhika Sarathkumar
have played extended cameos in a few noted daily soaps and the respective episodes are set for telecast soon. While
Raasi will be seen in Girija Kalyanam, Aamani in Akka Mogudu,
Posani Krishna Murali in Bhagyarekha and
Khushbu Sundar
in Bommarillu. While Prithvi and
Thagubothu Ramesh will be seen in Rendu Rellu Aaru, Radhika Sarathkumar’s Pinni-2 is also gearing up to be launched soon.
A few teasers of Raasi promoting Girija Kalyanam are also out on social media. The channel airing the show has recently launched the Telugu dubbed version of the supernatural Hindi series Naagin-4 during the lockdown. The channel is also gearing up to entertain with fresh episodes of its popular daily soaps while non-fiction shows are also likely to resume soon.
