The Karnataka Anti-Corruption Bureau recovered approximately Rs 13 lakhs from the residence of a junior engineer in Kalaburagi. The PWD official had dumped the money in the Pipeline connection of his residence. The Karnataka ACB conducted raids simultaneously in 60 locations across the state. The search operation was carried out targeting 15 govt officials as part of a probe into alleged disproportionate assets. According to ACB official Mahesh Meghannanavar, a total of 54 Lakh rupees in cash was recovered during the raids.
