In a shocking incident in Karnataka, a class 9 student from T Gollahalli, Bangarpet taluk, died after suffering a heart attack while practising dance steps at her school. The incident took place on Thursday afternoon when a group of students was rehearsing for the annual day function scheduled on Saturday. Poojitha, 14, from Vimala Hrudaya High School, collapsed while dancing in the auditorium, said K Rathnaiah, deputy director of public instruction. “School authorities took her to a nearby primary health centre, where doctors referred her to another hospital. The authorities and her parents then rushed her to Jalappa Hospital where she was declared brought dead,” he added.
