Jhajjar remains deep-rooted in its culture, one which does not give a lot of leverage to its women. Female foeticide is very common in this area. Looking at the current scenario, Asha Kiran stood up for women rights in this area and launched a campaign against female foeticide. Asha Kiran is educating local woman and girls against heinous crime like female foeticide. Asha Kiran is also educating villagers about the importance of keeping a balanced sex ratio.
