Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann sacked state health minister Vijay Singla on corruption charges. Vijay Singla, who is MLA from Mansa assembly constituency, was demanding a 1% commission for every tender revealed CM Bhagwant Mann. Hours after he was sacked, Vijay Singla was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau. CM Mann said, “I took it very seriously. Nobody knew about it, had I wanted it could have brushed it under the carpet. But, I am taking strict action against that minister, sacking him from cabinet. I am directing the Police to register a case against him.”
