Chaos at Coimbatore station as migrants try to catch special train back home
Chaos and disregard towards the social distancing directive were witnessed as hundreds of migrants gathered outside Coimbatore railway station in hopes to catch a train back home. Around 1,464 migrant workers were to be taken back to Uttar Pradesh on the special train scheduled to leave Coimbatore on May 20. However, in the rush to reach first, social distancing went for a toss on the buses and in long queues outside the railway station.
