A mob attacked a medical team in Tamil Nadu’s Tuticorin while the health officials were visiting a village in Tuticorin district as it had been declared a containment zone with 1 Covid-19 case. The health department officials had gone to bring their family members in for testing of Covid-19 from their village. Similar have been taking place in different parts of Tamil Nadu wherein medical professionals are being attacked for trying to bring in their families for testing.
