A 22-year-old B. Tech student in Galgotias University committed suicide after jumping off 8th floor of a building in Greater Noida Pi sector. The student, Neeraj Kumar hailed from Jharkhand and shared a rented flat on first floor with five other flatmates in HPCL housing society. According to Neeraj's friends, the deceased was in depression over poor performance in studies for the past some time. According to reports, Neeraj was all alone when he decided to take this extreme step of ending his life. After the tragic incident, cops where informed and body of the student was sent for post-mortem. The family of the deceased have also been informed about his death.
