Delhi administration conducted an anti-encroachment drive in Bhajanpura area on July 2. Notably, Hanuman Temple and Mazar were removed to widen the road. DCP Northeast Joy N Tirkey informed that the demolition drive was conducted peacefully. “Demolition drive is underway peacefully at Bhajanpura Chowk. A decision was taken by the Religious Committee of Delhi to remove a Hanuman Temple and a Mazar to further widen the road for Saharanpur Highway. Both structures were removed peacefully.
