Kerala train fire: Governor Arif Khan calls incident “Heart-rending”, expresses condolences over loss of lives
Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan on April 03 said that the fire incident in Alappuzha-Kannur Executive Express train is heart-rending. Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan told ANI, “…Three people lost their lives. This is heart-rending. I express my condolences to the bereaved families. Security will have to take note of this.” In a shocking incident, an unidentified man poured petrol on passengers and set fire inside a moving train near Elathur in Kozhikode district on April 02. Following the incident, three people including an infant were found dead on the railway track near Elathur.
