Noida: Farmers allege illegal sand mining thriving on Yamuna floodplains

Farmers in villages near Noida have alleged that illegal mining in their area is destroying farm land. They say that contractors are extracting mines in large areas that haven't been allotted to them, and the menace of illegal mining continues despite complaints filed in CM office. An inquiry was held after their complaints, but that has not stopped the illegal mining.
