Shaheen Bagh gunman Kapil Gurjar, who had fired 3 shots in air, joins BJP

Kapil Gurjar, who fired three shots in the air at south Delhi's Shaheen Bagh area during a protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in February, joined BJP. Gurjar had fired shots in the air at the Shaheen Bagh, where 24-hour sit-in led by women lasted for more than three months against CAA. He was arrested and sent to police custody a day after the incident.
