Hyderabad: Man attempts self-immolation due to financial distress

A 57-year-old man employed as a security guard attempted self immolation in Hyderabad. The man was rescued by policemen present near the Telangana Assembly and sent to Osmania General Hospital. The man suffered 30 percent burns. Police said that both the man and his wife were employed but they were in financial difficulties for quite some time. The man had slipped into depression.
