A tiffin box on the road side, half of which was buried inside the ground, created panic in Rajanna Sircilla district. On being informed about it on April 6, a bomb squad of the police rushed to the place near the forest area as a matter of abundant precaution to check out if there was a bomb in it and defuse it. After five hours of operation, including using a JCB to dig up the earth on the road near Maribadla village in Konaraopet mandal, the police heaved a sigh of relief. The tiffin box contained something else and not a bomb.
