Kerala Govt gives in to church pressure, withdraws award for cartoonist

In a controversial decision by the Kerala government, they have decided to withdraw the award which was given to a cartoonist for lampooning Franco Mulakkal. The Lalit Kala Academy had decided to award the cartoonist the Best Cartoonist Award, after which The Kerala Catholic Bishop Council raised objections to it.
