Youths held with one crore cash, duping police at Varanasi railway station
On Monday night, GRP detained two Jharkhand youths and one crore in cash at Varanasi's Cantt railway station. During the interrogation, neither of the youths was able to produce any documents pertaining to the money. Income tax officials, who arrived on the scene with information about GRP, are investigating the situation. In preparation for the Holi festival, an investigation campaign was launched at the Cantt railway station. Two people arrived at the station to board the Dehradun Express. When the GRP questioned him, he tried to mislead the officers. They were taken to the police station by officers. When both youths were searched, Rs 50 lakh in 40 bundles of Rs 2.5 lakh each was discovered from them.
