Bharat Jodo Yatra: Mahatma Gandhi's great-grandson Tushar supports Rahul, says British granted pension to Savarkar
Activist Tushar Gandhi joined Bharat Jodo Yatra in Maharashtra's Shegaon. The yatra is an effort of Congress to reach out to people. Tushar Gandhi said that Bharat Jodo Yatra is in accordance with our traditions that have brought revolutions. He said that the social fabric of the country is at stake under the present government. The yatra will unite people at a time when people are being divided. He said that this is an effort to unite it through such programmes. He also spoke about VD Savarkar saying he took a pension from the British and was loyal to them.
