Nityanand Rai slams Bihar govt for renaming Atal Bihari Vajpayee Park in Patna
Union Minister Nityanand Rai slammed the Bihar government for renaming the 'Atal Bihari Vajpayee' park in Patna's Kankarbagh area to 'Coconut Park,' calling it an insult to the Bharat Ratna awardee and former Prime Minister of India.Speaking further, he advised Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to prevent Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav from renaming the park since doing so is detrimental to the country and the people of India will never forgive them. “It is an insult to the Bharat Ratna awardee and also the former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee. I suggest Nitish Kumar stop the Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav from inaugurating the park with the new name as doing this is not in the favour of the country and the people of India will never forgive them for this step”, said Nityanand Rai.
