Celebs, politicians visit Lata Mangeshkar's residence to pay condolences to late singer's family

Lata Mangeshkar, the ‘Nightingale of India’, passed away on February 6 at the age of 92. The loss of iconic singer is being mourned by prominent politicians, celebrities and scores of music lovers across the world. Celebrities and politicians have been visiting Lata Mangeshkar's house to pay condolences to the singer's family. Maharashtra cabinet minister Aditya Thackrey, Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole, MNS leader Shalini Thackeray, veteran actress Padmini Kolhapure, and singer Talat Azizwere among others were spotted arriving at Lata Mangeshkar's house today. Lata Ji was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital on January 8 after she was diagnosed with COVID-19. The legendary singer was laid to rest on February 6 with full state honours at Shivaji park in Mumbai. Following her demise, the Government of India announced two-day national mourning.
