CIA 'Tracks' Mojtaba Mystery As Iran’s War Strategy Said To Be Run From 'Secret Hideout' | Report
Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei may be directing Tehran’s war strategy from deep inside hiding, according to a CNN report citing multiple U.S. intelligence officials. U.S. intelligence agencies said they have been unable to visually confirm Khamenei’s whereabouts since the attack. CNN reports that the Iranian leader has remained isolated while recovering from severe burn wounds to his face, arm, torso and one of his legs. Iranian officials, however, insist Khamenei is recovering and “in complete health.” Mazaher Hosseini, head of protocol in the office of Iran’s supreme leader, claimed the injuries were minor and accused enemies of spreading “rumors and false claims.”
