Cuba has briefly eased its crippling energy crisis after a long-awaited shipment of Russian oil arrived in late March, offering temporary relief from months of severe blackouts and fuel shortages caused by tightened U.S. restrictions. The Russian-flagged tanker Anatoly Kolodkin delivered about 100,000 metric tons of crude to Cuba’s port in Matanzas Bay - the first major oil delivery since U.S. sanctions cut off most fuel supplies earlier this year.
