A fresh wave of drone threats from Yemen has heightened tensions in southern Israel, as sirens rang out near Eilat following a suspected Houthi incursion. The Israeli military confirmed multiple drones entering its airspace, with several intercepted and others unaccounted for, possibly crashing before impact. While no injuries or damage were reported, the incident underscores growing concerns over Israel’s ability to counter multi-directional aerial threats. The Houthis, backed by Iran, have intensified operations, including claimed strikes on Ben Gurion Airport. This marks their fifth such attack, highlighting an expanding regional conflict stretching from Yemen to Israel’s southern and central fronts.
