Tensions are rising once again along the Israel–Lebanon border with fresh strikes and intercepted attacks pushing the region closer to escalation. The Israeli military says three Hezbollah fighters were killed after attempting to launch a surface-to-air missile at an Israeli Air Force aircraft. In two separate incidents, operatives from the Iran-aligned Lebanese armed group also reportedly launched rockets and an explosive drone targeting Israeli troops operating south of the Forward Defense Line in southern Lebanon. This comes as US President Donald Trump said Israel and Lebanon have agreed to extend an initial 10-day ceasefire by three weeks. Watch the video for more details.
