Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump called Iran’s latest proposal “garbage” and “unacceptable,” while insisting that Iran “can’t and won’t have nuclear weapons.” Despite the fiery rhetoric, Trump also said a diplomatic solution was still “very possible” and claimed he already has a plan to end the conflict. Trump also alleged Iran fired more than 100 sophisticated missiles toward US warships during the confrontation, calling it a “tremendous strategic mistake.”
