Iran-linked Militia Fighters Strike Iraq Hotel Housing American Troops; Huge Attack Caught On Cam
An Iran-linked militant group has claimed responsibility for a deadly drone strike in Iraq's Erbil, targeting a hotel reportedly housing American troops as regional tensions escalate. The group, known as the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, said it launched drones toward what it described as U.S. “occupation bases,” including areas near the U.S. consulate and Erbil International Airport. At least six American service members have been killed in the past three days, marking one of the deadliest openings to a U.S.-Iran confrontation in recent years. Video circulating online showed a building engulfed in flames following the strike.
