Kate, the Princess of Wales, hospitalised for up to two weeks

Kate, the Princess of Wales, has successfully undergone planned abdominal surgery at the London Clinic, a central London private hospital. Kensington Palace disclosed that Kate will recuperate for 10 to 14 days before returning home and resuming public duties post-Easter. The palace underscored Kate's commitment to maintaining normalcy for her children. The medical condition prompting the surgery is noncancerous. Despite her overall good health, Kate previously faced hospitalization during pregnancy due to severe morning sickness. The palace expressed regret for postponed engagements but highlighted Kate's eagerness to resume them. Born on January 9, 1982, in Reading, England, Kate Middleton met Prince William at the University of St. Andrews. Prince Harry and Meghan's move to California in 2020 brought changes to the royal family, but the Prince and Princess of Wales remain popular figures within the fold.
