Lavrov STUNS U.S. Journalist On LIVE TV; USSR Shock, Attack On Ukraine & Europe, Message To Trump
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov dismissed speculation that his choice of attire in Alaska — a USSR sweatshirt — was meant as a political message. Confronted by a journalist, Lavrov clarified that Moscow has no intention of reviving the Soviet Union. Citing President Vladimir Putin, he said: “Those who are not sorry about what happened to the Soviet Union don’t have a heart, but those who want to restore it don’t have any brains.” Lavrov insisted the remark reflected the Kremlin’s position, calling it “an absolutely correct statement.”
