Slovenia becomes the first country in the European Union bloc to ban all weapons trade with Israel over the ongoing war in Gaza. The Slovenian government in a statement said, "It is moving ahead independently because the bloc is unable to adopt concrete measures… due to internal disagreements and disunity. Slovenia's move came after it banned two far-right Israeli ministers, Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, from entering the country. Last year, it recognized Palestinian statehood.
