Six weeks of relentless Iranian attacks, and a stark realisation is setting in across the Gulf: America’s defences may no longer be enough. And now US-allied West Asian nations are rethinking their entire security strategy as Tehran boosts its ballistic missile and drone production ahead of what looks like a second round of war between America, Israel and Iran. According to a Wall Street Journal report, countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates are urgently looking at countries other than the US to replenish their draining weapons stockpile.
