IPL 2026 schedule this week (6-12 April): After nine thrilling matches last week, a trend is beginning to emerge on which teams are on a roll and which are still struggling to settle into the new season. So far, 15 matches have been played in the new season of the
IPL, and four teams have already set the early marker in the race for the playoffs.
With four wins in four matches,
Rajasthan Royals sit at the top of the points table. Punjab Kings are at second after two wins and a no result due to rain. They are followed by defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants, who have two wins each so far. Meanwhile,
Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders are two winless teams in IPL 2026.

And on Wednesday, GT held their nerves to beat hosts DC by one run in a last-ball thriller.

Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, face off in Guwahati on Friday.
The weekend double-headers will see Punjab Kings take on Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings face Delhi Capitals on Saturday, followed by Lucknow Super Giants vs Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Sunday.
