A major escalation signal from Turkey as it unveils a new AI-powered kamikaze drone, “Mizrak,” capable of striking targets up to 1,000 km away—bringing Israel within range. Developed by Baykar, the loitering munition features autonomous targeting, sensor fusion, and anti-jamming systems designed for high-precision strikes even in GPS-denied environments. The drone can carry a 40 kg payload, remain airborne for over seven hours, and reach speeds of around 185 km/h. Mizrak is set to be officially unveiled at the SAHA Expo 2026 in Istanbul, marking another step in Turkey’s rapidly advancing drone program. The system has already completed live warhead firing tests, according to the company.
