Russia has reported one of its largest recent strikes targeting Ukraine’s military infrastructure. According to the Russian Defence Ministry, long-range precision weapons and attack drones were used against military-industrial facilities, transport networks, and aerodrome infrastructure supporting Ukrainian operations. Moscow says the strikes were carried out in response to what it describes as Ukrainian attacks on civilian targets inside Russian territory, adding that all designated targets were successfully hit. The ministry also claimed significant Ukrainian losses across the frontlines, estimating around 1,205 troops killed over the past 24 hours. In the northern sector, Russia’s Battlegroup North reportedly inflicted over 195 casualties and destroyed a tank and an armored combat vehicle.
