'You're Weaponising...': Malaysian PM Thrashes Trump In Jaw-Dropping Speech Over 'Tariff Bullying'

At the ASEAN Summit 2025, Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim warned that Donald Trump's "punishing tariffs" are weaponizing global trade against weaker economies. With Malaysia facing a 25% US tariff by August 1, Ibrahim urged ASEAN to strengthen internal foundations through increased trade and integration. This comes as BRICS nations also reject Trump's tariff threats.
