Another Indian crude oil tanker, Desh Garima, successfully crossed the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday despite continued tensions in the region. Maritime tracking data shows the vessel became the 10th Indian ship to transit the crucial waterway since the Iran–US conflict began, and the second since the ceasefire. The tanker had departed from Ras Laffan port in Qatar and is now in the Gulf of Oman. Despite security concerns, shipping activity continues, with reports indicating that at least eight oil and gas tankers crossed the strait the same day. The development highlights cautious but ongoing global energy movement through one of the world’s most critical maritime chokepoints.
