Atishi Hits Back At BJP: Rejects Rijiju’s Claims, Calls AAP a Fast-Growing Political Force
Delhi LoP and AAP leader Atishi has strongly responded to Union Minister Kiren Rijiju’s remarks alleging internal collapse within the Aam Aadmi Party. Rijiju had claimed that several AAP leaders left the party voluntarily and suggested that only a small core group remains with Arvind Kejriwal.Countering the statement, Atishi dismissed these claims and accused the BJP of repeatedly declaring AAP’s political “end” over the years. She said that despite such predictions, the Aam Aadmi Party has continued to expand its presence across states, forming government in Delhi multiple times and strengthening its position in Punjab while also making electoral gains in other regions. Atishi further alleged that the BJP narrative reflects political insecurity and said that central agencies are being misused to target opposition leaders. She maintained that AAP represents an alternative political force that continues to grow despite sustained attacks and criticism. The exchange adds to the ongoing political confrontation between BJP and AAP, with both sides intensifying their messaging ahead of upcoming political battles.
