A well-known Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir tried to make fun of IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan on the occasion of one year of Balakot air strike. Mir interviewed a man who had purportedly served tea to Wing Commander Abhinandan when he was in Pak army custody. While Mir tried to make fun of Wing Commander Abhinandan, the man told him that he was happy that the guest like his tea. Wing Commander Abhinandan had shot down a Pak Air Force F16 fighter jet but he had to eject after his MiG-21 Bison was shot. He was taken into Pak Army custody but had to be released following relentless pressure by India and the world community.
