BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi Attacks TMC, Raises RG Kar Case And Law And Order Concerns
BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi attacked the West Bengal government over its handling of women’s safety and crime cases, claiming a significantly lower conviction rate compared to the national average. Speaking in Kolkata, he referred to the RG Kar College incident and questioned the state’s law and order situation. He also criticised remarks attributed to the Chief Minister on women’s safety and raised questions over the Trinamool Congress manifesto naming. His comments add to the ongoing political confrontation between BJP and TMC in West Bengal ahead of crucial elections.
