Congress Leader P L Punia Urges Immediate Seat Sharing Talks With SP Ahead Of UP Polls

Amid tensions within the INDIA bloc following Congress’s decision to back Vijay’s TVK in Tamil Nadu, the Samajwadi Party has reaffirmed its alliance with Congress in Uttar Pradesh. Akhilesh Yadav dismissed speculation about any split and said electoral victory would remain the alliance’s main focus. SP leaders stressed that coalition politics remains important ahead of the 2027 UP Assembly elections. However, the party also cautioned Congress against repeating its Tamil Nadu political strategy in Uttar Pradesh. Watch
