Farmers carry on stubble burning at Ghanaur village in Patiala

Despite the SC’s call to curb stubble-burning, Punjab continues to witness stubble burning cases. Crop stubble is being burned at Ghanaur village in Patiala, Punjab. Stubble-burning incidents is one of the major reasons behind the rise in air pollution in New Delhi. The directions of the apex court came while hearing an issue relating to air pollution in Delhi-NCR.
